I saw it! Unfortunatly it was just Matthews setting his bona fides for the unsuspecting viewer. He is a liberal thru and thru. It is his M.O. After establishing(to the unsuspecting viewer) that he was unbiased, the rest of his show was a Bush bash festival. In fact it was down right sickening. DITTO ! He says these things to get people to talk about HIM and HIS Show at the water cooler next morning in hopes of getting more viewers and higher ratings.

He bounces around a lot, but I've always liked Chris Matthews. Comes from a (largely) Republican family, believe it or not. His brother Jim Matthews was (is?) a Republican County Commissioner in suburban Philadelphia's Montgomery County.
