15 Year Old Girl Accused of Drugging Parents So She Could Sneak Out to Party

Could be placed in Juvenille facility until she is 21

Police said since Thanksgiving the girl has been stealing her stepfathers antidepressant drug trazadone, crushing it and putting it in her parents coffee, drinks, and even their pizza.

'It could have killed him because of the dosage. If he takes the correct dosage, its fine, if he doesn't it could overdose him,' Kenosha Police Sgt. John Morissey said.

'As far as her mother, I don't know her health problems, and I think that is one of the things that the girl forgot to think about when she was doing this is the side effects of what could happen,' Morrissey said.

Police said the mother found out about the plan Wednesday when the girls friend told her grandmother.

The mom who was drugged called the police to turn her daughter in.

The girl is not just a criminal, she's an imbecile. Trazadone is a very weak antidepressant. It has a tendency to increase drowsiness in some people, but it's no date rape drug. Either the parents just fell asleep on their own anyway, or she was truly giving them massive, dangerously high doses. And the latter seems kind of suspect to me, because trazadone is supposed to taste very bitter.

Yeah, but they're not tiny pills either. I just can't imagine how the kid could have managed this without the parents figuring it out almost immediately.

They'll get her squared away in Juvi.

There she will learn the proper drugs to use and where to get them.

The parties there will be different.

Throw her in a small room with only a bare mattress, bread and water....and let her contemplate her actions....if she has any brains that is....

Any antidepressant is a controlled drug - meaning that the insurance and pharmacy will only fill it at a certain point (usually 28-30 days from the last refill). Now, if this kid was stealing this much medication, you would have thought that the stepdad would have gotton suspicious as to why his 1 month supply was disappearing so fast each month. I think the parents are a little clueless, more so when they're drugged, apparently.
