Anyone who embraces Republican ideals is welcome in the Republican party, regardless of race. If the majority of blacks do not embrace those Republican ideals, then the Republicans should not compromise the ideals of current Republicans in order to gains their support. Recent elections have been won without black support. The conclusion is that Republicans represent the interests of most Americans. If Republicans compromise their ideals to attract blacks, they run the risk of loosing some of their base. They could gain some black voters and loose even more voters because of compromising their ideals.
As a disclaimer, I am not a registered Republican. The Republican Senate already compromised their principles one too many times for me.
