Hmmm............plenty of things we do "like rabbits", but "being eaten" isn't among them. :) Well, you having seven kids I think I know to what you are referring ;-) , but as for me personally, I only have heard rumours of such activities. Rest assured I will do my best as a patriotic American if I were to find a patriotic lass to lend her assistance in such an endeavor!
Regards,
TS

Maybe the Iraqi's have forgotten that last little go-'round we had with them a fwe years back. Perhaps the US military isn't dropping enough psyop flyers.
This photo depicts the "trash dump" defensive force concept of the Saddam's warrious:

Hopefully the Lieutenants and Captains that ran like screaming, crying babies and left their men to die in the trenches are the Colonels and Generals of today. Hopefully they know and fear the power we can wield. They know that Saddam is lying and that they might have to go back into that battle once again.

.......and God bless you for your willingness to sacrifice in such a manner for your country, my friend. :)

The only rabbits involved in this fight will be the "Elite Republican Guards". These chicken $hit excuses for soldiers will soil themselves and hurt each other trying to be the first to surrender to news crews

I don't know about that Monty Python analogy. As I recall the MP bunny "had a mean streak a mile wide" and routed the Knights of the Round Table, who fled with cries of "run away, run away!" Wait a minute, I see your point. That may actually be an appropriate training film for the Iraqi military.

Quick march: volunteers of the Jerusalem Army, an Iraqi civilian defence unit, at yesterday's parade in Mosul. They had all been given the day off work Looks like they are practicing running away. What they should be practicing is throwing down their weapons and holding their arms above their heads. They also need training in "enemy identification" to avoid the embarrassement of surrendering to newsmen that they experienced the last time around. They should also be worried about being killed by Saddams chemical or biological weapons, since, having no uniforms, they are unlikely to have MOPP suits either.

OK. This is my first post EVER on FR though I have been reading stuff here for years. It's quite the complicated process!
This weird statement reminds me of the Sniper and the Cherokee (was it?) story behind the comment, "We have caught the sniper Like A Duck In A Noose." Isn't that story about a rabbit? I remember thinking how bizarre the statement was and how bizarre for Chief Moose to read it for all the world to hear.

TIM: There he is!
ARTHUR: Where?
TIM: There!
ARTHUR: What, behind the rabbit?
TIM: It is the rabbit.
ARTHUR: You silly sod!
TIM: What?
ARTHUR: You got us all worked up!
TIM: Well, that's no ordinary rabbit!
ARTHUR: Ohh.
TIM: That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!
ROBIN: You tit! I soiled my armour I was so scared!
TIM: Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!
To: El Gato
Looks like they are practicing running away. What they should be practicing is throwing down their weapons and holding their arms above their heads. ARTHUR: Three. Three. And we'd better not risk another frontal assault. That rabbit's dynamite.
ROBIN: Would it help to confuse it if we run away more?
ARTHUR: Oh, shut up and go and change your armour.
GALAHAD: Let us taunt it! It may become so cross that it will make a mistake.
ARTHUR: Like what?
GALAHAD: Well... ooh.
LAUNCELOT: Have we got bows?
ARTHUR: No.
LAUNCELOT: We have the Holy Hand Grenade.
ARTHUR: Yes, of course! The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch! 'Tis one of the sacred relics Brother Maynard carries with him! Brother Maynard! Bring up the Holy Hand Grenade!
