Texas Did Execute The Murderer Born In The UK.

Posted on 02/05/2003 6:32:12 PM PST by Tacis

It did not appear to have been covered today but, yesterday, February 4, 2003, the state of Texas executed the murderer John Elliot. He was the 7th evil doer that Texas has disposed of so far this year.

Elliot's case brought out the usual leftest whackos protesting his punishment. These whackos always pick some sort of particular fact in the murderer's makeup on which to base a claim that he should not be executed. "He was under age18 when him murdered all those people," "he is border line retarded," "he has found religion and is a different person," and "the jury had no Serbo-Croations and was, therefore, biased" are typical.

Elliot's hook was that he was born in the UK where his father was in the USAF and, even though he was only there six months, should that should be enough to avoid termination. It wasn't!

There were some postings last week that covered Elliot's impending departure from this coil. Perhaps, someone can add the links.

The UK seems especially hostpitable to criminals. Citizens can't even try to prevent crimes. Texas doesn't share that philosophy. If you want to murder and live happily ever after, kill in the UK. It should be clear to all by now that if you murder in Texas there likely will be a terminal price.

I did not see it in the left wing, ultra-liberal, old time media but thought you might like to know that Elliot has, as they say, passed and, on schedule.

Good for Texas! Unfortunately, we here in Alaska are burdened with lots of wimps from the lower 48- especially Californicate and Oregone- to have a death penalty.

My only suggestion to Texas would be that these scumbags should die slowly and very painfully- but I'm afraid that is a non-starter.
