I don't believe that these wrestlers were sexual predators.

They shaved the kid's pubic hair. I guarantee you, if a man forcibly shaves a womans pubic hair, they'll be charged with sexual assault or battery, depending on the jurisdiction, and would have to register as a sex offender.

That the victim was of the same sex doesn't make these wrestlers any different.

As far as I know there have been bullies in every high school in every state. Doing this to a female would undoubtedly be a sexual assault. Male cheerleaders would surely be a target in a wrestler world. I have wrestled competitively, albeit long ago, and wrestlers are not reknowned for their tolerance. I think that this assault is just another example of jocks out of control. We have all seen it in our own experience. Remember that these are teens who haven't yet been able to form rational responses to acceptable behaviors that are outside their experential database. I think that a brush with the law will make these miscreants take notice that they are not in charge. Before you attack me, let me say that I don't think they are wrong, I know they are wrong.
