They're both members of Germany government in the year 2003.

They can both kiss off.

I said it three years ago....soon Liberals will turn on each other. Clinton/Gore Daschle/Gephardt...They have to. It is the Liberal lifestyle to rail at and destroy something. In Germany's case, they cant defeat GW or Blaire so they'll turn on one another. I wont be surprised to eventually hear of a emerging fissure in French/German relations. This is how it works.

At first Schroeder tried to lower taxes on corporations and make an effort to reduce the social programs that every German seems to feel are absolutely necessary, never mind the economy is in the tank.

Most Germans are socialists and the rules and regulations make it impossible for anyone to do more than the absolute minimum amount of work. Every extra effort is punished.

Socialism is a failed plan and Germany and France are fine examples of those failures.
