Gay spouse, straight spouse

The article makes several very questionable assumptions. The first is that gay/straight are absolute and exclusive categories, a concept that is very modern, very Western and very much different from most people's experience. The second is that people who feel a sexual attraction must act upon that attraction--vows to the contrary notwithstanding.

Living out these assumptions leads to disaster, particularly for the children of men and women (though usually men) who decide they have an itch they need to scratch. The article, naturally, makes them out to be heroes, but I expect few of them seem heroic to the children they reject so they can shack up with their boyfriends.

Depravity, yes, but have you ever stopped to wonder how surreal is the whole circumstance of what passes for homosexuality?

Men attracted to very feminine boys, but also claim they are attracted to men. Seems to me they want something in between a boy and a woman, and not what they claim to want at all.

Lesbians who claim to be attracted to women, but who butch themselves up and act like men. Why wouldn't they, if they are attracted as they say they are, want super-feminine women, rather women who are trying to pass themselves off as masculine?

Frankly, it's like they are unfaithful to their own perversions!

Just what I have usually observed--the younger man, smooth and petulant, the older man devoted and pathetic.

I suppose the homosexual "youth cult" is something you think I invent?

Only because so many homosexual couples are made up of pathetically devoted older men and beautiful, ill--natured boys who take ruthless advantage. This, despite the assurances of the popular media that homosexual couples are anxious to set up Ozzie and Ozzie type households made up of two comfortably pudgy men...
