I need to go back and re-read "The Devils". I read through it- and most of his other major works- last summer, all in the course of a couple months. Difficult, perhaps, but utterly engrossing. And it seems often Dostoevsky acts as a prophet for our age, uncannily at times. And Kirilov, is, in my opinion, one of his most incredible characters- I agree, no one else could have come up with him.
