SAN FRANCISCO(AP) - More than 100 employees who work for Gov. Gray Davis draw their salaries from other state agencies, and are not on his payroll, according to a newspaper.
The 112 employees work directly for Davis and account for more than $7.7 million in salaries annually, according to documents obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle.

It kind of makes ya wonder, while the nation and state's economies were getting ready to tank under the loads placed on them by the Era of Clinton and the Socialzits in Sacramento, was anyone looking out for the taxpayers?
How many state employees did Davis and the state hire while we were headed for the iceberg?

i commend old red davis on his ability to flaunt his graft, corruption and general indecency in the faces of kalifornia voters... and still be reelected as their fearless leader.
