REQUEST FOR FLEA COLLARS FROM THE TROOPS IN IRAQ!!:

Rose particularly wanted me to spread the word that a friend of hers has a son serving in Iraq. He has asked his mom to send him some dog and cat flea collars. There are sand fleas and the collars help a lot in warding off the little buggers. Rose asked me to let folks interested in preparing care packages for troops on the Iraqi front that this is a HIGH REQUEST item!!

No, better check. I remember years ago some marines at camp lejuene N.C. did that and we ended up with some pretty sick marines. They aren't made for people, they are made for animals.

Absolutely, no flea collars for the people who have a problem with fleas -- even dogs sometimes have very severe reactions -- let alone one (person or dog) who might need surgery after a sustained period of having a poison necklace seeping into one's system!

Drinking apple cider vinegar (in some unknown quantity, yeechk!) MIGHT put enough tannic acid in the system so the person does not taste very good to the parasites.
