I have a strong cardboard tube that will hold a flag up, but it is only 28" long. How high is your flag? Will it work? Reply to this or FReepmail me if you want me to bring it.
And anyone else that needs cardboard tubes should let me know- I have 5 others, but they're all kinda flimsy gift wrapping tubes. Your sign must be light for it to work.

I usually fold some cardboard to the size of a paint stirrer stick. Stapled and taped to my folded sign, it works fine.
One time, when it was windy, I snuck a chopstick inside it to give it stability.
