Well, the term "filtered and sterilized" unnerves me a little... but maybe it's just I tend to be sensitive to Eugenics... ;0)

I think we're all getting the same 'form' letter from him, plus he says he will reply later when things quiet down. Even if he got only a 'small' response, he probably has a few thousand e-mails to deal with.
I am not from Texas, but I make no prejudgement of Texans that I meet- or anyone else for that matter.
Dubya is clearly a whole lot brighter than his detractors give him credit for. I cannot agree with absolutely everything that he does, but overall I'm pleased.

Dubya is clearly a whole lot brighter than his detractors give him credit for. I certainly agree with that. Plus, growing up in Midland, Texas - he's got some 'street smarts' and common sense. I think he is very good at dealing with people 'one on one' rather than across the ocean. People tend to like him when they meet him. Just my opinion.....?

Well, I suppose it's a start, although it sort of boils down to "Y'all are fat and dumb and your president must be stupid because we aren't comfortable believing anything else... but it's no longer feasible to pretend you aren't brave, so... cheers."

I was not kidding on the challenge. I sent Mr. Blacks letter to the local paper's editorial staff today. Now we have to wait to see if they have the {cough} to print it.

Bump, and I think I will write a letter to him tomorrow. The Brits stood strong against Hitler, even when the rest of Europe was falling. I do not believe the latest polls from there, as I do not believe the latest polls here in America (no matter which way they trend). PM Blair stands strong, and also knows what is right. He is a leader to be respected too, along with their country.
