(WASHINGTON) -- City employees are working round the clock and top officials are on call at all hours as the District prepares for what could be a huge snowstorm. So where is Mayor Tony Williams?
He is vacationing in Puerto Rico, where it is sunny and 80 degrees.
Williams' predecessor, Marion Barry, also drew criticism for being out of town during snow emergencies.
Williams spokesman Tony Bullock says even people in public office have a right to go out of town with their families.
He also says the mayor is confident in the Department of Transportation, the Department of Public Works and their snow removal teams.

You're right! I hadn't thought of that. Out of town when the going gets tough, possibly dangerous. Whos does this guy think he is? Bill Clinton?
