The Mercury News, or maybe Knight Ridder, apparently still has a bone to pick with these virtuous folks with the big bags of money to milk. The rest of the rags will follow eventually, well, some of 'em may.

The level of corruption is staggering when you think about the amounts of money we are talking.

Kickbacks, sweetheart deals, campaign donations; bu$iness as usual at CalPERS and the California state government.
