No surprise here. The brainwashing is nationwide and has been going on for probably 80 years.

"Its time for conservatives to get back in the education game."
We are back...in our homeschools.
Until the NEA is defanged and public education is privatized this problem will continue.

She didnt sign the note because she feared that she would be connected to pro-American views and be punished by her school.Very likely, though she may have also been embarrassed by her penmanship and grammar.

So was anyone else reminded of Julia passing her note to Winston in 1984?

I've been ranting here for years: the Culture War is real, we're WAY behind and the stakes are high. Assuming these kids will grow out of it in time to save America is wishful thinking. I'm a cultural warrior, it gets me in hot water, but it is better than waiting for lock-step liberal teachers and professors to change their tactics. All Freepers are freedom ambassadors waiting to be activated.
Go.

Very likely, though she may have also been embarrassed by her penmanship and grammar. Both of which are exemplary by the standards of the average denizen of today's public schools.
Don't get me wrong... there's room for improvement... but she was able at least to mach subject and verb, a skill that eluded many of my collegiate peers.

Perhaps these fellows really were my peers. Funny, I don't remember going to Appalachian State...

The culture war is big but there are hearts waiting to be turned. What we have now is not working and eveyone know it. The future is in our hands.

Very likely, though she may have also been embarrassed by her penmanship and grammar. Aside from one spelling error ("speach"), the grammar and usage looks okay to me at a glance. And her handwriting is better than my doctor's ;)

BUMP to the VERY top of the LIST!!! Pass, bump, ping, send this along to everyone you know. This is what "ed-joo-kay-shun" has regressed to in Amerika.
Joseph Farah fans take heed: There will be NO "Taking Amerika Back" if we do not takeour children back from state sponsored indoctrination.

Unfortunately this article was printed months ago and I can't find it online anymore.
But in reference to taking back our schools one classroom at a time...A Berkeley, CA preschool, well the teachers/adults that run it, had the PRESCHOOL children protesting. Made disgusting/derrogatory signs against our President and saying 'give peace a chance.'
I sat here staring at the web article. These are toddlers with their pictures in the press for the world to see. They are being taught, praised and rewarded to disrespect the President and call him names for a side show agenda for the 'teachers/adults'. No one is outraged about this?
I saw that as no worse then the Pals teaching the six year olds to handle guns.
The web discription still comes up for this article; but the CA Patriot doesn't have the archives up and running yet.

THINK a little bit. She obviously was writing this letter on the spur of the moment and was probably trying to hide that she was even writing it. He has it right, this girl was afraid of being found out by the Stalinists who run that sad school.
Forget penmanship, her hands were probably shaking as she wrote it. This girl was brave to even do this.

And then it hit me. She was obviously scared to death. She was scared to tell me her views face-to-face because students and teachers were standing around when she approached me.They are scared, very scared. During the election my daughter who attends college asked me for a Bush Button, but told me she would have to hide it.
She voted for Bush but had to tell her college "friends" that she voted for Gore. I cannot stress enough how out spoken she is. At home she has never been afraid to go against the "popular opinion" even among her peers. It made me feel mad as well as sad that she would feel that much pressure to have to lie about who she voted for. She told me that if she told the truth they would never leave her alone.

I call that the crab theory.
Picture a bucket of crabs. They will RIP your arms and claws off while crawling over you to get out of the bucket. They keep each other from getting out. That is no different then the unsuccessful, uneducated, closed minded.
They can't do for themselves, so they don't want anyone else to do either.

My husband is currently running the school-of-education gauntlet here in Oklahoma. He spent 24 years in the military, much of it training 18 year olds not to break high-tech stuff worth millions of dollars, then to actually fix and use that high-tech stuff. He has a mind like a steel trap and knows more history than many of his professors of history know. But he has to keep jumping through hoops to prove he's fit to teach. He may get his teaching certificate before he's 50...he retired at 44 and started back in college the next year. He has more than 160 credit hours of college credit. He is TIRED of working two jobs and going to school, but he BELIEVES that the high schools need more conservative teachers. He believes that what he has to teach is important. IF they let him teach an alternative to the union line I'll be surprised. He's great with teenagers and can keep them in line and paying attention better than I ever believed...but will they let him TEACH? When???
