Now that we have Darth on our side does that mean we will see all those nuts who declared Jedi as their religon jumping ship?

Let's not fall into the trap that liberals do.

It's great that JEJ supports America, but he is a Hollywood actor. He's just a man like all of us and his support lends no more creedence to my beliefs than all of your support (which I do not wish to minimize or cheapen).

I'm glad to be right. I'm glad all of you are right. I'm glad some people in Hollywood are right...

This is also the same guy who does a psa played on local radio in which he preaches about religious tolerance and makes the false claim that all the great religions pray to the same God. If he is for the war then I guess he's even, 1 flawed psa and 1 reasonable stance.

Here's more proof that James Earl Jones is a conservative at heart... he's married to my neighbor's sister, and every year at Xmas my neighbor takes him boxes of ammo for his rifles as a gift. He has quite an arsenal, including a Khalashnikov(sp?).

Also the voice of CNN.
One accomplishment balances out another.

"James Earl Jones, a.k.a. "the voice of God". He has such a beautiful, deep, mellow speaking voice."

When I used to work doing commercial voice-overs for some of our local radio stations the tech guys in the studios taught me alot about getting the quality of my voice to what they called the "Deep Brown Sound."

I can remember them using Darth Vader aka James Earl Jones as the example of the perfect voice-over voice.

And NO "deep brown sound" is not some racial reference it is just a term some in the audio recording industry use. Also, another term used is "round pear shaped tones" and James Earl Jones has got that going on also.

The man has near perfect diction and his voice quality is beyond belief. And to this that he is a top notch actor and it gets me to wondering why he isn't up for more awards in the Hollyweird Community. Well now we know.

Mr. Jones is not one of THEM and thus his acting career must not get recognition. Tis a shame because he is truly a gifted actor.

Finally there's an actor besides Mel Gibson I can support in Hollyweird. It's good to know that there are more than Charlton, Bo and Tom Selleck!

Of course, back in 1998 conservative peacenicks (who represented a majority on FR among the GOP members in Congress) would have slammned him because of his support for Bill Clinton's war in Kosovo.

Perhaps you are a tad confused.....Bosnia and Kosovo are not the same country..they were all states within the former Yugoslavia. True, many of us saw the action in Kosovo that Clintoon implemented as another wag the dog...but then it was based on a false report that there had been a massacre in Racak. We also had spent time reading world news reports, that pointed to the KLA as a terrorist outfit. BTW, the Racak massacre report has since been refuted, but the findings had been initially held back because of the conflict in Kosovo.

Thanks for the correction but I am aware that these were different wars, though, of course, the overlap in issues was substantial. As a longtime freeper however, I remember that many here were quite skeptical of the Bosnia War for many of the same reasons they were skeptical of the Kosovo war.
