Left-wing actor Martin Sheen is on TV urging his fellow appeasement activists to harass the White House and Senate with a bombardment of phone, fax and e-mail messages. Now it's time to see if Sheen and his ilk can take what they dish out.
Sheen's front group pompously, hilariously calls itself "Artists [sic] United to Win Without War." Its co-chairmen are has-been TV "artist" mike@artistsunitedwww.orgMike Farrell and robert@artistsunitedwww.orgRobert Greenwald. Its executive director is kate@artistsunitedwww.orgKate McArdle. Phone: 1-310-204-2581. Be sure to tell the "artists" what you think of them.
More contact information for "Win Without War": Phone 1-202-478-3429, or e-mail info@winwithoutwarUS.org
Why not e-mail the "artist" Sheen at TheWestWing@nbc.com"The West Wing"? To really get his attention, send him a PriorityGram. If you wish to avoid the Tinseltown fodder of the mostly has-been "artists" involved, here they are: Gillian Anderson, Edward Asner, Rene Auberjonois, David (who?) Bale, Kim Basinger, Ed Begley Jr., Theo Bikel, Barbara Bosson, Jackson Browne, Peter Beck of REM, Diahann Carroll, Kathleen Chalfant, Don Cheadle, Jill Clayburgh, David (who?) Clennon, Jack (who?) Coleman, Peter Coyote, Lindsay Crouse, Suzanne (who?) Cryer, Matt Damon, Dana (who?) Daurey, Vincent D'Onofrio, David Duchovny, Olympia Dukakis, Charles S. Dutton, Hector Elizondo, Cary Elwes, Shelley Fabaras, Mia Farrow, Laurence Fishburne, Sean Patrick Flanery, Bonnie Franklin (she's still alive?), John (who?) Fugelsang, Janeane Garofalo, Larry Gelbart, Melissa Gilbert, Danny Glover, Elliott Gould, Samaria (who?) Graham, Robert Guillaume, Paul (who?) Haggis, Robert David (who?) Hall, Ethan Hawke, Ron Howard (oh, Opie!), Helen Hunt, Anjelica Huston, LaTanya Richardson (who?) Jackson, Samuel L. Jackson; Jane Kaczmarek, Melina Kanakaredes, Casey Kasem, Mimi Kennedy, Jessica "I hate Bush" Lange, Tea Leoni, Wendie Malick, Camryn Manheim, Marsha Mason, Richard Masur, Dave Mathews, Kent McCord, Robert Duncan (who?) McNeill, Mike Mills of REM, Janel (who?) Moloney, Esai Morales, Ed O'Neill, Chris Noth, Peter (who?) Onorati, Alexandra Paul, Seth (who?) Peterson, CCH Pounder, David Rabe, Alan Rachins, Bonnie Raitt, Carl Reiner, Tim Robbins, Mitch Ryan, Susan Sarandon, Tony Shalhoub, William Schallert, Armin Shimerman, Gloria Steinem, Marcia Strassman, Michael Stipe, Susan Sullivan, Loretta Swit, Studs Terkel, Lily Tomlin, Blair Underwood, Dennis Weaver, Bradley Whitford, James Whitmore, James Whitmore Jr., Alfre Woodard, Noah Wyle, Peter Yarrow, Howard Zinn. Curious, but we don't recall these "celebrities" opposing Bill Clinton's military disasters in the Balkans and Somalia.
Bet this is some sort of government funded organization. If it is, shame for using government tax money to attack the very government that gave it to them.

Dear Mr. Sheen,
if you are so sold on Saddam, why don't you go over there and keep him company. Take a few friends. Heck, take all of them. I'm sure he would listen to every bit of advice you and your close buddies could give him. He is such a good example of of a leader with an open door policy.
I enjoyed the West Wing and watched it every week even though I am a Conservative Republican. I consider it art and entertainment, yet you seem to have come to believe the art is reality. But I guess your right of speech is as good as mine. So I will vote with my right and stop watching and suggesting everyone I know to do the same. I will urge those who advertise on the West Wing to pull their ads. You see, there are two sides to an argument. You do not have a monopoly. We in the land between New York and the Left Coat can call for insprections and sanctions, too. We don't need Hans Blix, we've got our pocketbooks.
I hope you will find someday that playing the President of the United States and being the President of the United States are two wholly different things. Cute banter and dramatic heroics written by screenwriters are a world apart from the reality of confronting a murderous dictator with weapons of mass destruction.
Remember 9-11, Mr. Sheen. They attacked you, too.
Sincerely,
Danny Clay Lee
