It's amazing how quickly Harvard turns bright young people into left-wing Borg-type robots.

These men felt that it was their right to build this pornographic sculpture whose only purpose could be to assert male dominance.

We were fine until we got to the "my interpretation is the only correct one." Sorry, Amy, but I don't think that sculpture, whatever it was intended to symbolize, was meant to assert male dominance by its sculptor or interpreted that way by the vast majority of viewers.

I'm thinking, though, that with young Amy's attitude she is in little danger of an overaquaintance with the offending appendage.

And if this girl had been a professed Christian you'd be applauding her.

The unwanted image of an erect penis is an implied threat; it means that we, as women, must be subject to erect penises whether we like it or not.
Sister, you said a mout --, oops, um, yeah, you said it!

It actually sounded good, what they did, until I read the reasons why...an erect, inanimate penis sculpture threatens no one unless it is poorly situated (that is, it could fall and hurt somebody). I would support dismantling because it is obscene, however.

No one should have to be subjected to an erect penis without his or her express permission or consent.
