My son lives in Vinita. Right next door to Miami. They got hit extra hard with snow from the same system that set records recently on the east coast.
It's snowing pretty good in Wichita right now, with a stiff north wind. They may see upwards of 17" down around Miami today.

We live in Grove, on Grand Lake. I had only heard that we were getting six inches of snow. There must be ten already.

I'm about 15 miles as the crow flies from the KS border...in Osage Co. OK. We have at least 12-18 inches on the ground...with drifts to 36 inches...with very light snow still falling as I type.
