When we moved to PA we got the same insulting comments about Southerners not being able to drive on snow......

Even if you have snow, there'd be an assumption that you couldn't handle it because you're basicly a flatlander. (I know it's not necessarily true, but that would be the assumption.)

I can't even tell you how many times people have said to me they didn't think we EVER got snow in Texas! lol........ I just smile and remind them how huge the State is.... and tell them yes, we got snow every year............
