I learned the lesson about "never call the cops" when I let a young lady go on with only phone numbers exchanged..when my car appeared to be undamaged. However, in daylight and no rain, there was indeed damage underneath the car that didn't show on the outside. There turned out to be nothing I could do but eat it.

This guy got mad at me for calling the cops but it was the best thing I could do. Several witnesses told the Norman police what had happened because he tried to tell the cop that I was speeding and he stopped and didn't see me. Some guy got really mad at him and called him a liar.
