I think you probably heard what you wanted to hear. Maybe you should post the excerpts from the speeches you are referring. My recollection is Bush Sr. talked about globalism, free trade, etc and there were many that were concerned that this type of thinking could lead to a one-world government someday. But I don't recall Bush Sr. talking about closing down the U.S. government and turning control over to any one-world government.
