Go on, I believe Martin Sheen, the French, the Russians, the Germans and the Chinese were saying something about how inspections "work"?

At the rate of a few a day, this is just going to take too long. The Iraqi's are going to need some help to speed the process along....and the U.S. military is very helpful in such matters.

Interesting stuff, Ivan. It's difficult to imagine an army that sends everyone home at 2:00 pm. It's a little hard to buy in to that one.

Effort to destroy Iraqi missiles almost falls at the first hurdleBut it didn't. So who cares? Almost means "almost" which might as well mean "didn't". This is a diplomatic game at this point, and little more, in which case "almost" means nothing...

Hmmm ... the Iraqi's demonstrated ability to destroy missiles versus the 82nd Airborne's demonstrated ability to destroy missiles ...

On the way were forebodings of the now seemingly inevitable conflict, trainloads of armour and artillery heading south-east towards Basra. Instead of laughing, I'm crying. This was our chance to prevent American casualties, to get the trains while the equipment was on them, to end this whole matter.
Instead we are forced to watch this circus.

I got an easy way to destroy them, it only takes 5 minutes each. Drive them out 100 miles from Bagdad and fire them at the city. They only go 98 miles, right?
Seriously, just fire them into the open ocean. The things are built to be loaded in minutes and fired. This is all bullshirt for the Media Circus.

Selim, who looked all of 17, said he would have liked to have met young British soldiers under different circumstances. Yeah, I'll bet.
