His anti-war stance isn't the reason Worst Wing's ratings are down. It's because the show's jumped the shark. Sorkin fired all the GOP consultants and started taking it hard left, gernally making it more preachy and less fun to watch. Thus, people stop watching.

In real life, a president making such a mistake would be voted out of office pronto. The producers of West Wing would be well advised to take this road out and have Bruce Willis take the lead role for the next eight years.

As far as NBC is concerned, watching Tom Brokow give the evening news confirms that they go along with Sheen's stand on this, otherwise they would have pushed Brokow into retirement.

Exactly. "The West Wing" is no longer a top show, no matter what the NBC promo machine says.

Basically, it has 2 problems. Conservatives have never watched it, and now the liberals that used to follow it are watching more pure entertainment shows like "The Twilight Zone" and "The Bachelor/The Bachelorette".

My, how times have changed. Out of the top six we watched five of the winning shows last week.

Used to be we had dropped out of television altogether. Nice to have Sen. Fred Dalton Thompson on Law and Order. Gave us a reason to start watching it again.

We've always known Ramon's opposition to ANYTHING not liberal. For years we've watched him grow old marching, going limp, whatever he thinks will grab him a few headlines. His 'popular' tv show is in a ratings slide cos reality tv has taken over. Once again, Ramon is trying to grab a few headlines. Must be tough to have to live w/such a huge ego.

While each of them have had their moments (Ramon - Apocalypse Now, Emilio - Repo Man, Charlie - cameo in Ferris Bueller), I haven't seen much of the clan since Keith David was forced carry the two whelps in "Men At Work".

Of course, Keith David is the MAN, and anything he's involved with, by definition, rules.

I am definately taking note of what actors have been spewing anti-American nonsense and avoiding their work and the products they promote in commercials.

I won't be watching and I will buy another brand. Aint much, but it's what I can do.

Too late for NBC to be worried, Sheen is their downfall ticket. We did not watch their fantasy program before, we'll make sure we don't consume any of their fetid products.
