I've only heard Savage a few times. He's not really my cup of tea- a little too loud & intense for my liking. Having said that, I'll go out of my way to support him & his show if those fascists continue to try keeping him off the air. I'm sick of them being able to just throw out baseless, unproven accusations of sexism, racism or homophobia and having them stick. These left wing pressure groups are arguably a bigger threat to freedom in this country than any external enemy we have. Hussein, bin Laden or Lil' Kim over in N. Korea couldn't damage the fabric of American democracy with weapons or terrorism as much as groups like GLAAD have in conjunction with their actions in courts and the media.

Savage will soon have the best ratings on MSNBC.

He'll only need about 500 viewers to accomplish that!

Savage is no more extreme than Kristina Van Den Heuval...on Hardball waying Bush wants to establish a "beachhead" in Iraq for his hegemonistic dreams of dominance.

Saturday afternoon doesn't ring for TV ratings. I hope he succeeds but some people are better for TV, others radio. He is the latter.

"I support gay rights because I support human rights"

Can you present the argument to explain why you consider gay rights to be a human rights issue. Do you consider NAMBLA rights to be a human rights issue? (BTW the province of British Columbia, at least breifly, a few years ago, made possesion of child porn legal - three cheers for equality under the law).

Do you realize that to some, homosexuality is as abhorrent as pedophilia? Would you agree that at very least, shoving a penis into a rectum produces no benefit to the species or society in a general sense, and that it is not in concert with the natrual order of things?

I have known homosexuals. I also know heterosexuals who are into sodomy but who do not establish their identity by it. Homosexuality is never more perverse than when its practitioners define themselves by their deviation from nature. For most hetero-sodomites, their unnatural acts are but a transient diversion from the norm. For many homosexuals, sodomy is their “raison d'etre”.

(BTW I also think that smoking is not in harmony with nature)

"a seriously disturbed individual"... Yeah, right, if getting angry and being passionate about what you believe in means you are "a seriously disturbed individual" then Mr. Savage is...and so am I. He expresses OUTRAGE...the OUTRAGE that we all should feel at the theft of our country, our culture, our freedom of speech, etc. As he is always saying "This is just unbelievable to me"...these perverts are unbelievable to me and they HAVE NO RIGHT TO CENSOR WHAT I SEE ON TELEVISION OR LISTEN TO ON THE RADIO. Michael Savage is a hero to me because he stands up for what is right and he is passionate about it and he gets pissed off at all of the incredible stupidity going on around us. More people should be OUTRAGED AND PASSIONATE...I so often don't understand why they aren't.

"I have friends and family that happen to be gay and they don't fit the caricatures often presented on these forums by a mile."

I dont care much about the caricatures but the bottomline reality is that men are putting other men's genitals in their mouths and anus'.
Anyone trying to pretend that this is somehow acceptable behaviour that qualifies them for federal government protection is twisted.

Bad behavior [that is perported to be a private matter] shouldnt be made a public issue [clammoring for my tax dollars to defend this behavior] by the very same people who attempt to deflect the reasoned opposition by using the "Private Matter" excuse.

Talking to Emmylou is like trying to spread butter on a very stale piece of bread, it just crumbs all to pieces and makes a mess.

While gay men make up more than half the AIDS cases in the U.S., only a small percentage of gay men -- i.e., promiscuous, bath-house types -- actually have contracted HIV.

More than half? How about a number?

Also can you link us to the data that shows only a small percentage of gay men...?

Equality under the law is alright by me.

NO special treatment, no special considerations, no changing of values for any one group.

That 1% to 8% can keep their bedroom activities to themselves.

Stop trying to force us to accept you as normal.

Even if you think Savage is a blowhard, I hope you still support Savage in his upcoming battle to ensure this does not happen again.

I think Savage is a blowhard! BUT I WILL SUPPORT HIM...EVEN IF I HAVE TO WATCH MSNBC!

But can you prove that a majority of homosexuals oppose this TV show, or support the agenda of these groups?

You can't make up statistics or have us assume data that is not real to support your position.

Logic dictates that a population group affected at a higher rate than the general population by a terminal virus will have a lower average lifespan that the general population.

Yes, the people who contract the fatal disease do have a shorter lifespan.

Homosexuals contract that "virus" at a higher rate.

Everything [he said], from the childish name-calling

SO WHATS accused by gay and women's groups of being "homophobic, racist and sexist," name calling ? or just plain old " hypocritical ?"

Its like saying we cant go to war because we have no proof of W.M.D.! BUT if we do go to war we may be hit with W.M.D.!

homophobic, racist and sexist,

But just on their premise, accepting it for argument's sake, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT?

1) Homophobe: Why shouldn't someone with an albeit irrational fear of anything be allowed on TV? What about claustrophobics? Ballistophobics?

2) Racist: If they're just spouting their views, what's wrong with that? What about specists? (sp?) People that think that humans are superior to other animals? Non-PETA types like most people....should they be banned from free speech?

3) Sexist: Every woman on "The View" is sexist. Remember, a misogynist is just a man who hates women as much as women hate women.
