Spring is definitely around the corner. Snow's mostly gone and the land has that raw look that persists until the first green starts shooting up. We saw our first mountain bluebird on March 13th, and the pine Siskins and chickadees are back on the scene. Soon, we should see our morning airshow, as we call it, once the barn swallows come back - I'm convinced that these little guys swoop and cavort for rthe sheer love of flying. We always welcome that softening of the breezes that is the true harbinger of Spring.

A bow and a nod to your skills and discipline - we're going to need all that we can muster in the days to come. As the Bard says, 'The readiness is all...."
