MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The airplane that crashed and killed Sen. Paul Wellstone had a clean maintenance history and underwent a detailed, scheduled inspection two months before it crashed, federal documents show.

The documents, released Tuesday by the National Transportation Safety Board, show that repairs included minor fixes to the plane's deicing system in late August. There also were checks on the King Air A100's flight controls, wiring, engines, propellers and fuel system.

Who are you gonna believe - a couple of dozen DUmmies, or the NTSB? I know if we put it to a vote, the NTSB loses, 34-1...

I hope I never have to make that choice. It's like, "Would you rather sleep with Saddam Hussein or Scott Ritter?"

Rather bad landing, though.

Word has it in pilot circles that the pilot's coworkers knew his skills were questionable. Apparently the company he worked for was trying to convince him to give it up, but didn't have the guts to fire him. Of course it's all hearsay.

The co-pilot made an interesting statement to his mother as well suggesting that he knew this could be near the end. There was other strange stuff about him; I forget the details. Bears looking into.

No evidence of Arkancide, either. Although that hypothesis would seem to be a bit more plausible than tampering by Republican operatives.

Wow, did Scott Ritter fall off the face of the Earth or what? Even his liberal buddies don't mention him anymore.
Oh well, gives him more time to "cruise" the internet for teens.

Where does NTSB stand on flight 800. Oh that is right they disregarded all information about a missle attack, and said it was an in line fuel tank explosion.

Same think with the Egyptain flight, it wasn't a homicade crasher.

NTSB your governmnet at work.

Icing did him in, if it couldn't fly then it was either over loaded or the ice got them, so nothing wrong says pilot error or ice. Ninety some percent of all crashes are pilot error.

The co-pilot's name was Michael Guess and he had earlier given Zacharias Moussouai an illegal copy of a 747 simulator CD at a flight training school. He said it was accidental. In fact, that is a possibility and the weather the day of the crash was terrible. But what a coincidence, wouldn't you say?
