TV IS NOT RADIO (GLAAD vs Mike Savage tv show,cite tv's higher journalistic standards)

The best thing that Rush's tv show had to offer was the rebroadcast of clips we all can recall such as Bill Clinton laughing at the Ron Brown funeral and then morphing into a crying face when he spots the camera (although his aide is still laughing).

The internet offers some opportunities to "see" the left's shady side but primarily it is a written (or aural) media (bandwith isn't high enough for everyone to be downloading a high res clip of a tv broadcast).

We can discuss how Peter Jennings rolls his eyes and says "some presidents do this sort of thing well, while others... do not" but it's just not the same.

He'll be another talking head. Cable loves them, I guess that audiences do too. I wondered as I flipped around cable, why most of the channels had these people at desks talking to cameras. I guess that it has something to do with "never being lonely" having cable and someone talking "just to you".

I don't have cable anymore; I realized I was only watching around 5 channels and broadcast Fox led that list.

It will be good to have some alternatives to the other talking heads but I don't expect it to do much good. The channels will claim, "see we're fair, we even have..." or even "we gave ... a shot and no one liked watching his program (at 3am)".

Has Michael ever bashed Ted Kennedy, Albert Gore, Bill Clinton, The Dashole, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin...?

He's not an "equal opportunity bigot", he's an "equal opportunity misanthrope" who voices his dislike of leftists (and conservatives when he differs on opinions; I've even heard him speak out against George W. Bush).

Silly statist left wing militant queers. If you had been paying attention, you would well know the media represents nothing but a crude profit motive.

I view GLADD and Michael Savage in EXACTLY the same light...

Savage on TV will be bad for conservatives. The last time I listened to the fool, he said liberal reporters covering the middle east should be shot for treason.

I'm the first to get in line and bash liberals but comments like that are well beyond the pale. There is NO excuse.

The exact opposite of what GLAAD does, unless the woman, person of color, or immigrant is a conservative, of course.
