Can anyone please tell me, and everyone else out there for that matter, where the nomination stands right now?? I would especially like to know if we've been sold out by Frist.

This is not a sell-out at all. It is just a means, within the Senate's carefully-maintained facade of propriety, to force a vote on the record, even though it doesn't yet count: it "outs" the bigot Dem'rats.
There is always the outside chance, after this is voting is done - and publicized - several more times, that just a few of them are embarassed enough to turn. Gotta admit, though, embarassing a Dem'rat is pretty much impossible.
