Speaking to an anti-war gathering in south Beirut, Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah said US troops "will face bullets, guns, blood and suicide attacks within Iraqi territories."

He also praised the anti-war positions of Lebanon and Syria on the Iraq crisis, adding that the United States is doomed to failurein the war.

Nasrallah also vowed that his group is ready to fight any possible provocation from Israel to defend Lebanon's sovereignty and territories in case of a war in Iraq.

He issued a warning to some Arab countries that provide facilities to US troops to attack Iraq, saying they should pay backfor what they got.

Hezbollah spearheaded the fight against Israeli troops during Israel's 22-year occupation of south Lebanon, and forced the unilateral Israeli withdrawal from the area in May, 2000.

Hezbollah has been listed by the US State Department as an international terrorist group.

Most of the homicide attacks on Israeli civilians are perpetrated by Hamas, not Hezbollah. When Israel considers the latter (and their masters in Syria) a military threat, they'll deal with them in the appropriate manner (like they always do).
