"Why do they hate us and what caused 9/11?"
ask the doctrine "explainer" of this "independent, non denominational church"
So what are some of the reasons that might have fueled such acts?
  1. Hatred for past religious and racial violence against the Muslim world.
  2. To destroy your faith in Christ as a citizen of the west by making you hate, thus compromising your believe in Jesus’ offer of new life based on God’s forgiveness and the right relationship between all people.
  3. Perhaps the plan was to free Palestine, or gain wealth, or reach some personal paradise.
  4. Or perhaps the goal was to unity the peoples of the Muslim faith under the fundamentalist tradition of the Taliban, because the followers of Mohammed would be persecuted by the western world.
  5. Perhaps the goal was to stop the oppression of western military power, the financial dominance of the poor, or the declining morals that result in social and spiritual ruin.

The primary reason for this act determines very much what the response should be to it. Even if the logic behind it does not track in the western mind, the appropriate response must be related to why this was do(ne) sic.>/b>

YEAH right we need to "UNDERSTAND" these murderors... These extremist relgious groups always try to find a way to "understand" why muslims believe it is OUR fault they killed our people...after all we somehow managed to have pissed them off!

Poor islamic radicals... at least they don't pledge allegiance to that accursed red white and blue flag! eh?

Maybe if we just "love them" enough while they murder and torture little children... the sweet love of Jesus will just miraculously fill their hearts...

No doubt God could do a miracle right? But did God stop Hitler, or did He pass us the responisibility and tell us to fight him to the death to stop that killer? EXPERIENCE and HISTORY point to the latter solution being the more typical one...

God of late has not been real big on parting the seas for deliverance, UNLESS you count Trident and Ohio Class subs as Miraculous Water Parting devices... link to their essay a sacrifice of praise...

What LaLahLand failed to consider is that to be 'one nation under God' it means we are under His word - a land of righteous people trying our best to do His work...

But, maybe that's just me...
