I'll see your "No RINOs" graphic and raise it a much larger one that will soon be available for sale on T-shirts and other merchandise courtesy of the South East Arizona Republican Club. We'll even make one for your geographic area/region if you request it. Listen to KSFO in San Francisco in the near future for more info.

The graphic is not entirely finished - I have a few more things to do to it before we put it on the T-Shirts and stuff. Stay tuned - it's going to be fun.

I'm sure I will get flamed for this, but mining the border would solve the problem. Wire a 10 mile strip in from the border with claymores and other mines, and there would be no more problem. It worked for the East Germans.

Nice concept, but Spiff and I would have to move. And it might be kinda hard to sell the house under those circumstances...

Oh, I am sure there would be a continuous need for some folks to go out and reset the mines periodically. After all, modern mines have timers that cause them to deactivate after a set time period. I am sure there would be good bucks for that job (after all, you can't be sure that quality control is 100% and that this mine, yes this one here has auto-deactivated. So this would provide you with some excitement as well as good pay and you wouldn't have to move after all.

Nice! I like it..... but I have some great ideas about another graphic that could be used in addition to (or instead of) the rhinocerous.... something like a pointy-nosed moron head adorned with a sombrero morphed into the body of a mule with dingle-balls and equipped with hydraulics and flashing gang signs.... with a big sticker reading "Don't Mess With Texas" plastered on it's ass :-)

David Aguilar, chief of the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector, has his head up Bush's ass so far that he can't tell what the temperature is!

Bush wouldn't appoint any candidate to the BP that takes immigration and border control seriously. He have proven this over and over again.

What makes you think Aguilar takes immigration and border control seriously? He needs four times the number of people that he currently has to do anywhere close to a proper job at protecting that border area.

Instead he's bragging about what a great job he's doing! Maybe if he opened the other eye he might see that he's doing a fantastically poor job.

Following his election it was only an eye-blink before Grijalva joined the Progressive (Marxist) caucus in the House of Representatives.

Ten days after he was sworn in, his name appeared on their web site as a member.

Surprise Surprise!

To defend his assumption that border crossing have dropped by 70 percent, Aguilar pointed to a chart that showed drops in the number of apprehensions. Aguilar admitted he does not know what percentage of illegals are apprehended and how many avoid detection.

Don't you just love it, outcome based border control.

I doubt that the number of crossings has decreased in Eastern Arizona. Everything I see indicates a noticable increase in the number of illegals entering in Western Arizona.

Good Job Spiff, I couldn't get away to freep Comrade Grijalva when he was here Friday, one of these days I will have the opportunity.

The number of crossing has definitely increased in Cochise County just south of my house. Read this report about the civilian groups and how many of the wave of invaders they had apprehended last week.

BP agents are being purosely mismanaged so that they will apprehend fewer intruders so that Aguilar can show lower numbers and claim fewer crossing. He should be fired.

Somehow, we managed to get two people into the tour that were not invited who were able to set the story straight. Kolbe had handpicked ranchers from the Nature Conservancy to talk to the group and tried to keep real ranchers away. Here's a little more info about that:

From The Anderson Report:

David Aguilar is not only wrong, he is a willful premeditated liar.

We will know the outcome of the Arizona border situation based on whether or not Aguilar is removed from his position.

The delegation spent some time on the border touring public lands and some private ranches: It was during the briefing session on the Ladd ranch that Mr. Hutchison was told the real facts by Erin Anderson and Richard Humphries. Their combined (and unscheduled briefings) totally destroyed the credibility of Kolbe, Grijalva and Aguilar.

Erin's comments were highlighted by:

1. Her denunciation of the Arizona delegation for their "thundering silence " in response to the murders of a US Border Patrol Agent and US Park Ranger and the loud message such a lack of concern was sending to illegal alien smugglers and drug traffickers. Such a negative message is also a great concern to local ranching families.

2. Her rapid fire and detailed report on the terrorist Al Qaeda associations that have been long standing in Tucson.

Richard's comments were highlighted by:

1. His denunciation of Kolbe's meddling in Border Patrol operations and Kolbe's denial of local checkpoints.

2. His illuminating report on the town of Altar, Sonora as a major smuggling staging point.

The briefings were supposed to be presentations by three area ranchers selected by Kolbe to ask for "guest worker programs" and "no use of the military on the border". As it turns out, the Kolbe-selected ranchers did in NO WAY represent the regional ranching community, but are mere pawns and mouthpieces for the Nature Conservancy.

Kolbe is such an arrogant politico that he thought that nobody would catch on to his scam.

All should be grateful to Sheriff Larry Dever for escorting Erin Anderson into the briefing and for faulty Border Patrol control for allowing Richard Humphries in also.

No local press was allowed into the briefings which is why there is no reporting in the press. Again, the media is clueless and that which they did report was pure pabulum.

We did more than protest this weekend, we infiltrated the controlled briefing and destroyed the false image that Kolbe, Grijalva, and Aguilar wanted to present.

Erin Anderson is on the left. The lady on the right is local rancher B.J. Kuykendall. I'm standing behind her holding my sign up facing towards the Naco BP Station.

" If we don’t stick to our guns and stop them at the border, we won’t know what is coming into our country"

Well, DUH!!!!!!

I think "guns" is the operative word here.

Why not take all the illegal aliens that occupy our prisons and put them to work building a very tall fence, prison style. on the border, electrified and topped with wicked barbed wire. In exchange for this labor, upon completion of the fence, they can be released back to Mexico.

Good idea.

And I've yet to hear of any significant deportation of the illegals.

The biggest threat to this country is not from oversease but from our open border and the illegals in this country.

Only a moron, a psychotic, and/or someone who has vested interest or wants to destroy this country would support open borders.

What great reports. What a hell of a time for Windows98 to crash on me. Still having trouble.

Here's something Ben Anderson posted a couple of weeks ago.

http://www.azanderson.org/anderson_report_border_issues

Arizona Statute allows for expanded law enforcement opportunities

11-442. Ranger deputies; appointment and compensation

By and with the advice and consent of the board of supervisors, the sheriff may appoint ranger deputies whose compensation shall be fixed by the board, not to exceed one hundred twenty-five dollars per month for each deputy for salary and expenses incurred. Every ranger deputy shall provide and keep at his own expense a means of travel to be used by him in the discharge of his duty.

This program could obtain funding from the Highway User Revenue Fund (HUR) in the same manner the Highway Patrol is funded. The only exception is HURF would only need to fund this program for the four counties that border Mexico.

Why are we not doing this in Cochise County in order to help deter illegal aliens, drug traffickers and potential terrorists?

Could not Cochise County, through which 1.5 MILLION illegal aliens pass each year, do more?

Could not Cochise County form its own volunteer Citizen Border Watch Group to deter the invasion?

Why not?

American citizens, including young Border Patrol Agents, are being murdered.

Business as usual?

David Aguilar, chief of the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector, sad that while the outcry over illegal immigration has peaked recently, the problem is actually coming under control.

Allow me to interpret this piece of sleazy double-speak: "Under control" means that the process is producing the desired results and that influences that are undesireable to the controllers (angry citizens taking things into their own hands) are less likely to change the behavior of the process.

It does not mean less border incursion by illegals.
