If the protesters try to get close to critical military infrastructure while we are engaged in battle, they are going to get killed. The anti-war left will howl, but I think all reasonable people will agree that the military has a duty to protect critical equipment in a time of war.

No declaration of martial law is required to excersize deadly force on US military installations.

You don't need martial law for guards at an AFB to shoot saboteurs on sight.

I read, yesterday that Vandenberg had issued orders to shoot trespassers if necessary and I guess this is the reason.
