You know, I will just wait and hear what the President has to say. I get tired of these news outlets always telling us what they think he will say before the speech and then try and interpret what he told us after the speech, like we are some stupid idiots.
I just love the media!

We can pay for the costs from Iraq's own resources. 100 billion is the amount in damage I believe, we've incurred during 9-11 and its aftermath. As you can see a war on Iraq is a lot cheaper than dealing with a smoked American city.

This is probably the White House just giving snippets of the address out ahead of time..

Yeah, first they tell you what you're gonna see (or hear), then they run a dialog telling you what you're really seeing, then they give a summary telling you what you really saw.
You're right, gotta love 'em.

OK Can I get a "check-off box" on my tax form to contribute specifically to this was, and those to follow?

Not to mention that the direct cost of the WTC destruction cost NY some $87Billion. And what about the cost to the economy and airlines.
I rather pay $100B for a war, than pay that much and more to rebuild the US after some WMD attack, not to mention the potentially thousands, even millions of American lives and economy in total shambles.
$100B for the war is a bargain, when people consider the price of inaction.

Payment savings plan per year:
No illegal alien social security, welfare, or medical benefits: $400,000,000
No UN dues ever again: $30,000,000,
Collecting UN members unpaid parking tickets: $50,000,000
Revenue from converting into condos and renting out existing UN headquarters: $400,000,000
Converting French Ambassador's office into money-makiing patisserie: priceless

Agriwelfare was 128 billion. For those who worry about deflation, it looks like the administration has been listening and feels your pain. Watch for the electric bill at the US Mint to be shooting up for a while.
