Please note, Robin Cook was a staunch supporter of the Bosnian & KLA-Jihadists.

Now at the last minute he tries to undermine the war on terror.

What has come to trouble me most over past weeks is the suspicion that if the hanging chads in Florida had gone the other way and Al Gore had been elected, we would not now be about to commit British troops.

Another leftwing jerk who can't accept that George W. Bush won the election.

Yeah. You'd be too busy cleaning up a nuclear wasteland in London thanks to a dirty bomb attack due to putative President Gore's refusal to take strong action against terrorists.

The Balkan Wars were wars fought for Clintonian/socialist geopolitical interests that the Bush administration is not inclined to accept. Cook impplies as much What has come to trouble me most over past weeks is the suspicion that if the hanging chads in Florida had gone the other way and Al Gore had been elected, we would not now be about to commit British troops The break up of "nationalist" (in leftist eyes) regimes in favor of weak dependencies to the UN One World System.

Besides the hard reasons of oil routes which brought neocons and neoliberals together in the Balkans and Chechnya and into Asia was the way they view the future.

Both groups want one world hegemony and the end of the concept of sovreignty and borders (remember the statements of Clinton's Strobe Talbott?).

The neo-liberals want this to happen under the flag of the UN with the USA and NATO playing important roles as the UN's police force. The Neo-cons also want ths agenda but under the American flag with NATO serving as America's foreign legion for this one world order or American hegemony.

That is why Cook went.

This diatribe was utterly disappointing. It goes to show that when it comes to partisan politics, the left would risk the lives of everyone and pay any cost to discredit the opposition.

Cook's argument is also disengenuous in his justification of Kosovo. There is, whether he wishes to see it or not, a humanitarian disaster going on in Iraq. A disaster which he wishes to perpetuate through tough sanctions, and the retention of Saddam Hussien.

When the left, and Mr Cook finally realize that the true opposition isn't Bush, they'll have a better understanding of the world. They are totally blind, but soon they will see.
