The photo of the camel bus appears to be small in size. They are suppose to be able to stuff 300 folks into these death traps, and this one does not appear to be of that capacity.

I don't know about that 300 number, but there's no question that's a Camelo bus. I got tons of pictures of them while in Cuba.

There are a lot of standees, and those who sit often have a large portion of their bodies hanging outside the window.

As you can see from the picture, they are pulled by a standard tractor (same vehicle that powers a big rig), and they're about the size of a typical big rig trailer. I read that they are balky and unreliable because the big rig motors are not designed for stop and go traffic.
