For the life of me, I cannot understand why liberals do NOT care about people in other countries who are oppressed...they don't care bout the victims in Iraq and in Cuba....Yes, Nash...sometimes WAR is the answer.

Nash is a little guy by NBA standards. He might want to think twice about driving hard to the basket after he said all this nonsense - after all, the NBA gives ya six fouls.

Nash should stick to bouncing the ball and trying to put it in the basket. And let those of us who are trained professionals make the difficult decisions. Semper Fi

“ I'm not embarrassed by America. I'm embarrassed by humanity. More than embarrassed, I think it's really unfortunate in the year 2003 that we're still using violence as a means of conflict resolution. That's what I'm speaking out against. ” — Steve Nash

Kind of says it all. I think he is Canadian.

Steve, you're absolutely right. It is a shame in the year 2003 that we still have tyrants like Saddam, Kim il Jong and Fidel Castro that use violence to silence their critics. If you truly want peace, you would support the removal of these guys. They aren't going to go away by sitting around a campfile singing "Kumbaya." They will only leave by one way, force.
