Yo, Hans. You couldn't find the Scuds Hans had no intrest in finding Scuds or anything else, he was running a coverup operation, that is very obvious.

Hans, we all know that you and Saddam know that he is never going to be honest. So please shut up.

How does that blind SOB finish his toilet duties. He couldn't find a roll of TP if it was jammed on his nose.
Maybe he has a future in the American League?

Maybe the UN can ante up some gauze so the walking dead will be presentable. Oddly, the first thing I said to my wife when SH showed up for the taping the other morning was, "He looks kinda puffy, and I wonder about his eyes with those glasses on. Think they might be workin' a Weekend at Berny's thing on us here or something?"

Hans...
the UN is of dubious value now..
Sorry, GW tried to work with you... but unlike Bill Clinton, he is a man of his word and he is a man of conviction...

Hans, take a flying leap off of the Matterhorn.

I just came across this at Ha'aretz.
IDF believes threat here remains low
By Amos Harel
The missiles Iraq fired against Kuwait yesterday were not long-range Scuds as initially reported in the international media, but much shorter range ground-to-ground missiles. In all likelihood the missiles fired are those code-named "Frog," with a range of not more than 70 kilometers.

Even if they weren't Scuds... how about the al-samouds? Have they been discounted yet?

Now I'm confused about whether it was SCUDS or al Samouds, but during the inspection phase, one of these was found. There was a dispute about their range and whether they were allowed. I believe they had a range longer than what was allowed, but it was close and Blix - or whoever - kind of winked at it, as if it was a technicality that could be overlooked.
I'm sorry I can't answer about the al Samouds. I think by the time this whole thing is over, though, Blix and the whole inspection proces will be made to look foolish. And I hope that Scott Ritter gets his full 15 minutes of shame.

I should have replied to gabby hayes. Reports were that it was both. I haven't found any confirmation on either, but all indications are that they fired illegal weapons, which they couldn't find while Blix was there but suddenly produced and fired on Wednesday.
Like you, I think a whole lot will shortly be revealed.

And we were dubious from the start, Blixie, that you were actually trying to do you job.
When will the media stop sticking a microphone in front of this guy? His fifteen minutes are OVER. Hansie, take the hush money Kofi gave you, retire to a nice island somewhere, and write your memoirs: "Confessions of a UN Inspector on the Take".
