I didn't mean to approve baby-buying. I'm just saying that China is not making it easy for people who cannot keep their babies to get them to people who want them so much, and it's costing lives unnecessarily.

Well said. Supposedly the War on Drugs is responsible for drive-by shootings and overdoses, too. If we end the prohibition on consensual slavery then maybe these deaths wouldn't happen. This is all George Soros 'harm reduction' socialist thinking, for the record.

actually, its the US government that is not making it easy to adopt children from Asia due to the fact that its quite common for the children to be abducted and then sold as has happened many times throughout the region.

You're not approving baby- buying - you're approving life.

I think it is terrible that China has brought this to pass and I am glad that there are wonderful families like those of your friends who are willing to take these beautiful children. If only the process were more open so that China would not choose to kill any of their "extra" children, instead of taking care of "their problems" in the barbaric ways they instead choose.

My only regret is that there are so many unwanted children and also so many families that want children. Seems to me there is a built-in solution there if only paperwork and money weren't the obstacles they make of themselves.
