T-55's might be dangerous to troops in the open but unless they're some sort of upgrade they're next to useless against state of the art weapons. I'd hate to be an Iraqi crew member.

May as well put a Tiger II up against an M1A1 as a T55. The result will be the same.

I read about a case in Gulf War I where three T-55's shot at an Abrams M1A1 and and all three hit it, but the rounds *bounced off* causing minimal damage. The Abrams then returned fire and destroyed all three T-55's.
