Gun blazing Freerepublic bad-asses are wonderful!

Screw the Iraqi people!

Turn Baghdad to a glass parking lot!

Who cares if innocents die, it's their own f***ing fault for being born there!

Hell! Why don't we just nuke everyone! We have enough missiles to go around!

After all, Freerepublic bad-asses won't let a little radiation slow us down in our march towards complete domination.

Or maybe, just maybe, we can show why America is the most powerful nation on the planet. Not because of our technology or military might, but because of our sense of right and wrong. Because we believe that innocent life should be spared and oppressed people should live in freedom.

No, we should not blame ourselves for civilian casualities, but I am sickened when I read of people wanting civilian casualities.

Don't be an ass. The more we let tactics like that intimidate us the longer the war will take and more people will be killed in the long run. These people perceive our "humanity" as weakness, and they respect and fear us all the less for it. The most humane thing to do is get this war over as quickly as possible. How long do you think these populations can last without food, water or medical care? Unfortunately, that means innocent people will be killed, but if it means fewer deaths and less suffering in the long run, then it will be the right choice to make. Our coalition soldiers have the skill and support to win the war and put an end to this regime. That's exactly what makes their lives more valuable right now.

I dont want civilian casualties, you must have me mixed up with a radical muslim.

I'm simply stating that civilian casualties are unavoidable in a war as we all know, and that none of our people need to die to avoid them, unless you hold the lives of Iraqi civilians to be more important than our people.

Yes, I doubt this soldier could easily kill this kid if placed in front of an enemy soldier as a shield. How would we feel if our police decided to sacrifice all hostages just to easily get to an ultimate goal.

Seconded.

People, both the Peaceniks and the "Nuke Baghdad" crowd, really need to realize that Iraq is a country where a small minority of Baath Party sociopaths are terrorizing the remainder of the population.

Remember when Eastern Europe was "the enemy"?

Well, now that the sociopathic Communist Party thugs are out of power, who are our friends in Europe?

It is not the French or the Germans or the Belgians who can no longer remember that America saved them from totalitarianism. It is the Eastern European people who are standing by us as "New Europe" because they are greatful that we caused the fall of their recent Communist oppressors.

When this is all over, the Iraqi people will hunt down the remaning Baathist thugs and terminate them with extreme prejudice. Justice for the atrocities commited by the Baathists against our servicemembers and the Iraqi people will be swift and sure although not "by the book". If we have any common sense, we will not notice because we are tying our shoelaces but we will be shocked, shocked at all the dead Baathists when we look up.

Those Iraqi people are our future allies because we will rid them of their torturer......Saddam and the Baathist Party.

lighten upl, we have to blow off a little steam somtimes too. This war would destroy us all if we didn't. No one wants true innocent people to suffer. Unfortunatly we are risking our troops to assure that will not happen.

In Korea, the North did the same thing. The only answer was artillery.

Yes, it's awful, but it is not our fault. The job of the military is to enforce the political will of one nation upon another by means of extreme violence.

If they use innocents to cause us to not fight, they win, we lose.

We must respond in a way that shows their tactics are murder, and do not stop us. Those innocent deaths are the fault of the Iraqis, no the US.

Better think it through, you are the type of person that will be kind to the evil ones, causing us to be killed.
