If true, this sounds more like a clean-up crew. The only way this ends is with Saddam and his goons heads on a spike.

on its way to Baghdad for negioations with the Iraq Government

We would be nuts to send US nationals into Baghdad, unless they were accompanied by 500 M1 Abrams.

Watch for the UN and Arab coalitions to try more and more of this bllsht. All these scum are quite comfortable with an Iraq ruled by Saddam. This is only the beginning of phase2 of efforts to turn world opinion against this war.........

With our own home grown scum mounting peace protests in the UK and the USA. In sympathy with UN/Arab "peace" efforts.

Bill Gertz is good and has excellent sources. However, we've been negotiating surrender with key Iraqi leadership since before the initial decapitation strike.

If this is true we better not start this peace talks with a cease fire
It should be talk while the war still goes on

I heard an interesting report yesterday that could tie things together.

They said the initial hit on Bahgdad last week to decapitate the Iraqi leadership left Hussien either physically dead or brain dead.

Two bunker busters missles where aimed at a target where they believed Sadaam was counting sheep, creating a "chiminey like" opening in which 30 tomahawk missles were guided through.

The exact depiction was, if Sadaam is not dead the resulting concussion of those missles would have rattled his brain so much it would have snapped his neck, forced "feces through the openings of his mouth and anus" and his brain to cease.

Further, there have been reports that Hussien was taken out on a stretcher and the Iraqi's called the Russians frantically looking for a brain specialist.

Assuming this is true could it be that this "convoy" heading south is putting up a last stand and whomever is in control of Bahgded getting ready to throw up their hands??

Gertz said that they had contacted Saddams cronies and are dictating terms which leads me to believe that Saddam is proably brain dead or near death.

Agree that it is doubtful.

But, if Saddam is dead or near death, it explains a lot. All the orders to destroy oil wells and the terminals were either never issued or were not followed. If they were not followed, then it says that Saddam is no longer feared which means he is either dead or incapaciatated. If they were never issued, then he is dead or incapacitated.

There have been a lot of unused weapons, like antiship missiles from the USSR, never used and captured intact. That says command and control are non-existant. Any Iraqi military man will not operate independently without orders. Get killed that way. There are a lot of signd that Saddam is out of the picture.

For sure. And if there is one thing I would not want to be balmed with, that is WMD!

Yep. Knowing Al Jazerra, it's the US who wants the ceasefire, not Saddam.
