By advancing an effort to remove the President's legal authority to conclude this twelve year struggle against a virulent and growing evil, Baghdad Jim McDermott tacitly acknowledges that the communist rent-a-mob saddamites in our streets are protesting against a legally sanctioned, legitimate exercise in the self defense of American sons and daughters, in short, they are full of it, a truth enshrined for posterity in the actions of none other than Baghdad Jim himself.

Last week McDermott again brought honor to our state by voting no on a congressional resolution supporting our troops, the resolution passed by an overwhelming 392-11. McDermott is at it again today, co-authoring a resolution to rescind authorization for the war in which we are currently engaged.

What makes this even more disgraceful, disgusting and despicable is that one of his House colleagues has just been activated and deployed to the war.
