If you knew what Carl Rove did to California by putting Gerry Parsky in charge of the CAGOP and then putting all GOP funds for the last election in Parsky's control, you'd hate him too. We lost that election due to poor turnout. Rove is directly accountable. NOT ONE Republican candidate won statewide office in the last election, and the reason wasn't a lack of GOP voters or bad candidates (Simon was screwed by consultants Parsky forced him to accept). It was Parsky's refusal to fund a get-out-the-vote effort in his pique to support Richard Riordan. Rove put him in that position and wouldn't do anything to change it.

What you have described are your own frustrations, anger, and hate.

Get a grip, crybaby. You just don't like being called on your cowardice and fall to race-baiting when you can't win on the merits of your arguments.

You want immediate action, bullets blazing, an all our war with Mexico.

And just what can you cite of what I said that substantiates that assertion? Actually, what I would prefer is Federal construction of suitable barriers, inspection of transiting vehicles, and support of a citizens' militia on private property.

Meanwhile, you seem to forget that the government of the Unites States is REQUIRED to secure the borders:

Section. 4.

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

As it is, the US government is arresting and prosecuting citizens who patrol the border. Apparently you have decided that Article IV of the Constitution should go ignored because of your unsubstantiated FEAR of an insurrection.

Meanwhile, I have expressed real concerns about saboteurs and terrorists infiltrating that border that you chose not to address so that you could accuse me of being a racist (there's a wonderful little article Jay Wally did on the subject somewhere on the WND site, but I'm not going to bother), and I don't care what you impute to be my motives for seeing the need to seal it.

Still, seeing as you have raised the demographic question, the real problem isn't one of race, it is rate. The vast bulk of American citizens of Mexican origin prefer that the American Southwest stays that way. Among recent arrivals however, they consider it to be rightly part of Mexico. At the current rate of immigration, we aren't be able to assimilate that many people. We aren't able to afford to house, feed, medicate, and educate them adequately either. That does no good for our ability as a nation to help Mexico out of the pit of her own making.

So, as opposed to sealing the border, would you rather wait for a revolt to "take back Azlan"? At the RATE things are going, there will be such an eventual attempt.
