To sum up this report from China: Yes, China is now cooperating. (Although both teams from WHO are still denied access to the affected areas of China.) Do not worry, there are no new cases of SARS since March 11. (They said the same thing in February.) Sorry, no outsiders will not be allowed in to see for themselves. (China has blacked out news coverage of SARS cases in China.)

China should acknowledge SARS. They probably CREATED it.

We know what is happening in Hong Kong, but what about the rest of China?
You can bet "No new cases since March 11" is a lie. They had the same "no new cases" story in February, and then announced cases were double what they had previously reported, and deaths were six times higher.

(Chirac is funny, France is a joke.)

More than likely they have understated the total dead by about 50%. It will end up biting them and they will have a worse case senario. Any time a governnment trys to hide the truth on this large of scale, it never works.
