Conservatives wage war with governor, RINOs
March 30, 2003
Whats the difference between Eddie Farnsworth and Trent Lott? Eddies the one with the spine. And hes willing to use it to stand up to tyrants in state government, namely Gov. Janet Napolitano and RINO senator Linda Binder.
Rep. Farnsworth (R-D22), the House majority leader, and other conservative legislators are unhappy with liberal Republicans for killing good Republican bills. Informed consent, a taxpayers bill of rights and fetal manslaughter legislation all went down to defeat, thanks to liberal Democrats and Republicans. Farnsworth met recently with Sen. Binder (R-D3) and laid down the law with her.
I met with Sen. Binder and told her since youve killed good Republican bills, all your bills are dead, Farnsworth said.
Binder is one of four notorious RINOs --Republicans In Name Only -- in the senate. The others are Carolyn Allen (R-D8), Slade Meade (R-D20) and Toni Hellon (R-D26). Watch for them on television when the 2004 Democratic National Convention is aired. The RINOs are virtually Democrats in Republican clothing and have little or no concern whatsoever for Republican platforms or principles. They killed the informed consent bill recently, though the House version will come back their way.
Though Republicans control the House 39-21, there are pockets of RINO resistance to our party there as well. Farnsworth cited Rep. Pete Hershberger (R-D26) as being for every social program. The state needs to cut spending and bail out its sinking financial boat. We cannot afford to expand social programs, which must share the pain this year just like other state agencies.
Were taking a very conservative position in this budget battle and may hold until July, Rep. Farnsworth said. Were there to make good policy, not there to go along to get along. Ill kill every (bad) bill; there may be retaliation against me. Politics is a dirty game, and Im not afraid to stand up to the big boys.
Nor is Farnsworth afraid to stand up to the big girls, or big governor girls. Napolitano is pushing an unrealistic budget proposal that will significantly expand the size of state government. The shortsighted governors office said it hasnt even looked at the 2005 state budget situation yet. And she adamantly resists any attempt to seal the Arizona-Mexico border where thousands of foreigners are pouring illegally into the U.S. The governors projected revenue is pie in the sky, Farnsworth continued.
The governor recently met with legislators over the issue of Homeland Security. According to Farnsworth, the governor said even if we are attacked, she will not seal off the border. California and Texas have installed steel gates on their borders, funneling illegal traffic to Arizona, which allows 1.5 million aliens to enter illegally each year.
During this past week, there was a rally at the state capitol for illegals to get drivers licenses. According to Farnsworth, 95 percent of the demonstrators were illegals. Theyre brazen, Farnsworth said. State Rep. Randy Graf attempted to call the INS in, but he could not get past an automated phone answering system and was unable to leave a message because the voicemail system was full. The wonderful INS: your tax dollars at work.
The federal government claims that Arizona taxpayers are spending $200 million a year on medical costs for illegals. Farnsworth said it is actually seven times that amount, $1.4 billion overall. We are taking an aggressive stance on this, Farnsworth said. We send memorials to congress, and most of the responsibility is under the purview of the federal government. We need to do the same thing as California and Texas.

A new Republican web network is being developed in central Arizona, and you can be a part of its development. The network includes legislative districts 4 and 6-23. To access it, go to: www.maricopagop.net/index.htm, then register to log-in. Once you get in, click on Discussions, and add a comment about your support of the president the troops. The individual district sites are still being formed. The calendar includes information about upcoming events and monthly meetings in respective districts. The membership directory also provides a way for Republicans to get in contact with each other.
Be sure to attend the April 5 Phoenix Suns' game against Minnesota at America West Arena. It's been designated the Arizona Right to Life game by the Suns. For $16, you can attend the NBA game and thank the Suns and owner Jerry Colangelo for supporting a culture of life. Contact Arizona Right to Life for ticket details: (602) 285-0063 or azrtl@azrtl.org. I will see you there with the Culture of Life Team.
God bless the troops, President Bush and may God bless America.
Something like when (then) Alabama Governor George Wallace used National Guard Troops to 'guard' a "Public School" Facility from some invading forces....
...well..at least to him they were 'invading forces'...
I come for visit, get treated regal,
So I stay, who care I illegal?
I cross ocean, poor and broke,
Take bus, see employment folk.
Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to see welfare.
Welfare say, "You come no more,
We send cash right to your door."
Welfare checks, they make you wealthy,
Medicaid it keep you healthy!
By and by, I got plenty money,
Thanks to you, American dummy.
Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them come as fast as you can.
Come in open border and by Ford trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks.
They come here, we live together,
More welfare checks, it gets better!
Fourteen families they moving in,
But neighbor's patience wearing thin.
Finally, white guy moves away,
Now I buy his house, and then I say,
"Find more aliens for house to rent."
And in the yard I put a tent.
Send for family (they just trash),
But they, too, draw the welfare cash!
Everything is very good,
And soon we own the neighborhood.
We have hobby--it's called breeding,
Welfare pay for baby feeding.
Kids need dentist? Wife need pills?
We get free! We got no bills!
American crazy! He pay all year,
To keep welfare running here.
We think America darn good place!
Too darn good for the white man race.
If they no like us, they can go,
Got lots of room in Mexico.
The night of the election, KFYI was polling "upscale" women on the East side of the Valley who voted for Janet just because the was a woman (?? oh really?) and because she was pro-abortion.
When I heard that, It made me feel sick to my stomach.
Ya, I guess those voters were snookered, because Janet is going to do things to them that they won't like. Problem is, it's going to be done to us as well.

You're going to get burned with this governor also.
But do they have welfare?
A governor has the resposibility to protect State lands, even the lands that adjoin national borders.
So the governor should be demanding that the Border Patrol enthusiatically provide border control along all of the national borders. It is not the States sole duty to protect the border lands. This is a mutual duty.
If a Governor whose land adjoined the national border was to call up the State Guard and actually post them along the national border the Feds would find reason to halt all "federal money" coming into the State. This is how ther Feds keep control of States....money control is very effective.
