Fox's Freddie The Beadle Barnes said it best: "If Geraldo is bothering the generals, throw him the hell out!"

The Pentagon was very plain that he doesn't belong there any more. I guess he wants to be televised getting hauled off by some real he-man soldiers. Were I Rummy, I would send a company of the ugliest women I could find to do it.
To: laz17
Ah, well that takes care of that issue. :)

Nobody hated Geraldo more than I did during the Klintoon era. However, I believe 9/11 made him see the light, and I believe his support for the war and our troops is genuine. Is it impossible to believe that someone can experience a life-shattering event that forces him to change his ways? St. Paul, one of Christ's biggest detractors, certainly did a 180. So did David Horowitz.
That being said, I can understand if Geraldo got carried away in his enthusiasm and carelessly revealed something he shouldn't have. But I CANNOT understand how he would be allowed to do it twice. If he went over the line the first time he drew that map in the sand, you can rest assured he wouldn't have been allowed to do it again. And yet he did it again. This says, at least to me, that he was deliberately providing disinformation. Everyone who is angry that he revealed info has not even bothered to consider that the info may have been false. They have automatically run with the assumption that it's true. How do they know that it's true?
MSNBC is obviously using this situation to distract from Arnett's treason, as well as to get back at Fox for putting the spotlight on Arnett. But consider this: the folks at the Pentagon were FUMING about Arnett. Is it possible that the Pentagon would deliberately lie to MSNBC and tell them Geraldo was being kicked out, just to make MSNBC run with the story and totally discredit themselves? I think so. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

This is beginning to sound like a media war.
Wish Fox would interview who ever that person from the Pentagon the media keeps quoting that says Geraldo has been ejcted.
This story is getting old and is about the media, shows what a bunch a low lifes they are.

I would send a company of the ugliest women I could find to do it. LOL!! If he gave away compromising info, he should be removed ASAP so far as I'm concerned.

Wish Fox would interview who ever that person from the Pentagon the media keeps quoting that says Geraldo has been ejcted.Well, here's what I've found:
"He was with a (U.S.) military unit in the field and the commander felt that he had compromised operational information by reporting the position and movements of troops," Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman told Reuters.
"The commander thought it best to get the reporter out of his battle space and we understand he is being removed from Iraq," Whitman said.
Sounds to me as if Geraldo should be expelled..

Same here. I liked him after 9/11 too. At least he loves our troops. Do not really want to see a troop hating reporter on TV. So Geraldo it is.
To: laz17
MSNBC et al have destroyed their credibility. Theirs was nothing but a calculated attempt to distract from Arnett's treason and punish Fox. They have been proven to be BIG FAT LIARS. Screw 'em all. They should ALL quit and go to work for the Mirror.

I dunno. If they've changed their minds, then that's fine with me too. He should be done with whatever the Pentagon judges in the best interest of the operation.
