My wife likes that show, so I sometimes watch in an attempt to humor her. Last night, as usual, I left the room before it was halfway over. The show is just a platform for rabid liberal writers to inject their ideoligy into the minds of unsuspecting viewers. I stopped watching ER for the same reason. It seems like every week, an innocent child is shot by an out of control gun.
Truth is, I hardly watch anything on the networks. I get by just fine with FNC and Simpsons re-runs.

I stopped watching ER when they started in with the AIDS privacy thing, and just lost interest. I liked the whole dynamic between the English doctor and Eriq Lasalle. They recently had them split up reputedly because of a letter writing campaign by the "terry macmillian" brigade. History repeating itself. Also, I remember watching the pilot of The Practice some years ago and saying to myself, poor a$$ liberal lawyers? BORING. Bring back LA Law. I've never watched Boston Public, or anything other politically incendiary show. Although I did want to know if the cop's husband finds out she had an abortion (Third Watch).
Television is overrated. I watch TV once a week now.
