Does anyone here read about or remember the Asian flu and Hong Kong flu viruses that ended up killing thousands of people after their outbreaks in the middle of the 20th Century? It's amazing that SARS has only killed under 70 people, way below the average of deaths you get from a normal influenza outbreak.
Even Whitley Streiber--he of the tinfoil hat crowd--has said on UnknownCountry.com that the effect of SARS is not as great as what you get with a serious flu outbreak. I'll only start to panic real quickly if SARS suddenly starts to kill hundreds of people per day.
BTW, why doesn't CNN embbed Wolf and Juddy in that plane and let nature take its course?
